PACP is an Android app developed by The Public Authority for Consumer Protection Oman.

PACP first became available on 22 Jan 2013. It is estimated that PACP has been downloaded between 50000 and 100000 times from the Play Store.

PACP 8.2.0 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
